To support your full time or internship search, we posted a list of recruiting contacts at various companies who are open to being emailed. The document is located midway through the resources > networking section on our website.
Please read the below message as it contains important information.
CONTACT LIST - this document is for Cornell Tech students use only, please do not share.
- The list includes recruting (and other) contacts that allowed us to shared their emails. In some cases, they asked that recruiting box alias is used. The list will be updated as new contacts are developed, etc.
- The best way to use these contacts is to reach out once you found roles that are a good fit - include links to each role (ideally, no more than 3). Use CT alumni directory for informational interviews/learn more about each company.
- Not all of these companies are hiring right now, please check CT job board, JTS (MBAs) and Handshake (Technical programs) and/or their career site.
- To our knowledge, these folks are in their roles. However, as the pandemic continues, so does the turnover, especially among recruiters. If you get a notice that a contact is no longer with their listed company, please email CT CM team.
- Please recognize that there is a lot of uncertainty around hiring – you may not get a response right away.
SUGGESTIONS For EMAIL
Always address your contact by their first name.
In the body of your email please introduce yourself as a student in Cornell Tech’s XYZ program graduating in May or August 202x. Summarize your experience in 2-3 sentences focusing on qualifications that are most relevant for the roles you’re interested in (always include links). You may want to note that while you’re interested in role X, you’re open to other opportunities.
Your email should come from your Cornell account – this is how you’re tracked in internal CRM systems within each company.
