Hi All,
As we're approaching mid-semester, many of you are actively searching for full time jobs or summer internships. At times this may seem like a daunting task - uncertainty around business needs in the world still grappling with the pandemic, impacted recruiting and the recruiting cycle is protracted. The good news is that as you get closer to the graduation date, we expect more opportunities to become available to you - i.e.., companies should be able to shift to 'just in time' hiring mode later this spring and over the summer.
In the meantime, to support your job/internship search in this challenging recruiting environment, we will be sending resume book to an extensive list of recruiting contacts (more companies will be added to this list over the course of this semester and in the summer) and CT alumni. Please be sure to upload your most updated resume to the box folder by the end of the day Sunday, March 14.
To indicate that you uploaded your new resume, simply add a date to the file name (this way we will delete the old version). Please use the following file naming convention - first last name date (i.e. Jane Doe 3.8.21) and save your resume in pdf.
Last week we have posted a list of recruiting contacts at various companies who are open to being emailed. The document is located midway through the resources > networking section on our website. Please be sure to read the complete email regarding the contact list before reaching out to any contacts on the list.
Finally, for those of you seeking jobs outside of the US or looking for companies that hired international students last year - we posted these lists from the Johnson school on our website. While these are mainly MBA type jobs, but it's a useful starting point for all.
Thanks,
CT Career Management
